Welcome to the Kingdom of Kush, a new country situated on the land formerly known as Bir Tawil. Nestled between Egypt and Sudan, spanning an area of 2060 square kilometers, our journey began on June 13, 1993, when the founders proclaimed and planted our flag with a vision to establish a sovereign country. Under international law Bir Tawil is known as Terra Nullius, a “no man’s land.” It is a historically significant region which formerly has been part of the legendary Kingdom of Kush. It is now home to an inspiring resurrectional plan to create the next Dubai-like city in the Kingdom of Kush. As a global social development project, Kingdom of Kush plans for innovative infrastructure, sustainable housing, renewable energy, clean water, and localized food security.

Positioned as the 6th region of Africa, Kingdom of Kush welcomes the African diaspora of over 200 million people from all over the world to be part of this new nation in the continent. Furthermore, for those who feel a deep affinity for our Kingdom and wish to make it their home, we extend an invitation to apply for Kingdom of Kush citizenship. Our citizenship process is designed to be inclusive and accessible, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds who share our values of tolerance, respect, and mutual understanding.

What started as a small group of enthusiasts from all walks of life has over the past two decades transformed into a massive living organism of volunteers.

What started as a small group of enthusiasts from all walks of life has over the past two decades transformed into a massive living organism of volunteers. These volunteers have one common goal – to make their vision of the Kingdom of Kush a reality, with all efforts passionately undertaken in a decentralized but very methodical and cohesive manner due to the noble nature of the cause. The Kingdom of Kush is an “open-source” smart city state, inviting all to take part in creating access to prosperity and well-being for present and future generations to come. Many countries have already expressed unequivocal recognition and support for the new nation and our ethos which at its core embodies intercultural diversity, and the value of human connection. This will not be a place that values one race or religion over another but will offer inclusivity to all people. Diverse cultural expressions in music, art, film, culinary arts, and sports will weave every participating culture into this beautiful tapestry which we hope to share with the world through satellite Kingdom of Kush micro-communities soon.

Ministry of Peace

The Kingdom will introduce the establishment of the Ministry of Peaceful Coexistence and intends to create a better way of life that is free from various humanitarian abuses such as inquisition, holocaust, slavery, or what happened in Tulsa Oklahoma (“Black Wall Street”), so the history does not repeat itself ever again. The core group has thoroughly studied over 195 national constitutions and learned many lessons in order to implement an effective governance for the Kingdom.

Citizenship Applicants

The Governing Structure of the Kingdom will be a Constitutional Monarchy, with a Monarch elected based on merits. The first monarch will be Queen Mother Dr. Delois Blakely, a well known and internationally respected humanitarian as well as a spiritual leader who for over 50 years served as United Nations Goodwill Ambassador. Queen Mother has been recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the President of the United States Mr. Joe Biden. The Kingdom will also have a Parliament, with all elected members voted in by the citizens.

African Diaspora

African country, the Kingdom of Kush will also be established as a place to experience a homecoming for all people of African descent. The African diaspora is invited to live, learn, work, invest, and prosper in the Kingdom, and as a result, in the region and the entire continent.

A Blooming Vision of Business & Industry

With plans to become the next Dubai and Singapore-like business hub centered around the pursuit of knowledge and intellectual
endeavors, the Kingdom actively welcomes advanced research and development in all areas of business connecting Africa and the
rest of the world. Significant financial commitments have already been made toward a thriving business community helping to
stabilize the region economically and support the global economy. It will be necessary to continue funding the industrial ecosystem in
order to meet community needs involving energy, natural resources, agriculture, and mining. The Kingdom’s goal is to turn Africa into a financial supporter of the global economy, not to remain its beneficiary.

Modern Infrastructure

The Kingdom of Kush already has various infrastructure related projects on the way, such as housing, schools, airport, hospitals,
communication, roads as well as water related projects. Plans are in place to introduce mass transit into the region and the Kingdom of Kush Airline. The Kingdom plans to invest much more in the region, including billions of dollars in its neighboring countries Sudan and Egypt, to further the development of construction, manufacturing, and processing industries. All this will lay the necessary foundation for consumer-focused services and create millions of jobs for the people of Sudan, Egypt and other countries in Africa.

No need for Africans to migrate

There will be no need for Africans to leave the continent searching for a better future. The continent has more than sufficient resources to explore and develop, thus creating endless opportunities for a better life on the continent itself. It’s all about adding value to endless available resources on the continent itself, not simply exporting the resources and with this all the jobs and
related opportunities to other countries . The future is now. The new generation must take charge of their own destiny because it can and we believe will do so, as this is the only way to make Africa what it can be, not what it has been.  and resolution that will establish the United Nations (UN) Permanent Forum of Peoples of African Descent to legally address global inequities. Already 193-member body unanimously adopted a resolution that established the UN Permanent Forum of People of African Descent, a 10-member advisory body that works closely with the Geneva-based Human Rights Council.

The Kingdom of Kush is committed to put in place the first of its kind, a legally binding instrument of commitment to these UN and AU major initiatives.

The Kingdom is already an initiator

This blooming Kingdom has already obtained a legal right todevelop over 30 million hectares of land, significant amounts of natural resources (such as gold, diamonds, copper, lithium, iron, cobalt mines as well as water, rubber and many other resources) and is in the process of engaging in additional natural resources, mining, de-desertification, and clean water initiatives.
